Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun

Done watching GEKKAN SHOUJO NOZAKI-KUN ^______^ and one word to describe it..."hilarous"

Synopsis

High school student Chiyo Sakura has a crush on schoolmate Umetarou Nozaki, but when she confesses her love to him, he mistakes her for a fan and gives her an autograph. When she says that she always wants to be with him, he invites her to his house and has her help on some drawings. Chiyo discovers that Nozaki is actually a renowned shoujo manga artist named Sakiko Yumeno. She then agrees to be his assistant in order to get closer to him. As they work on his manga, they encounter other schoolmates who assist them or serve as inspirations for characters in the stories.

This anime focus more on humorous side of each character which is quite unusual for a shoujo themed series wherein viewers most likely look forward on how LOVE will bloom between the two lead characters. I loved this series because it's not BORING!!! Each episode was fun-packed and you'll end up laughing so hard (well, it happened to me ;) ).

Another is the plot was just refreshing, it's like a breathe of fresh air. Something that's different and not cliche. Just when you thought something exciting/heart pounding will happen... I'm not saying you'll get disappointed with what really happens. It'll keep you interested and will make you look forward on the next episode.

Here are some of the characters that made this anime possible:

Seo Yuzuki

She's the type of character you'll surely be pissed off, besides her annoying insensitivity she's also a brute! But mind you, she possess an angelic voice enough to wash away all my negative impressions about her.

Hirotaka Wakamatsu

Overly nuisance character in the series. I like the part where he tries to challenge Seo but ends up the other way around. My OTP for the series, the submissive and dominant type of relationship *evil grin*

Yuu Kashima

Confused? She's actually a girl, I can't accept the fact that she's way better than Mikorin when it comes to flirting. She's easy-going and can express her thoughts freely like it's the most natural thing (I'm kinda envious).

Hori Masayuki

The kind of senpai you can rely on, he's so dedicated in whatever he do (drama club/Nozaki's assistant) to the point of becoming violent towards Kashima. If Kashima wasn't better looking that Hori-senpai, I'll root for this pair.

 Mikoshiba Mikoto

My favorite character! Mikorin was just adorable, haha he acts cool and flirtatious but always end up embarrassed by his own doing >:D Made me want to torture him. He's the character model for Mamiko, kawaii right?

Chiyo Sakura

Her personality was just amazing, she change my perception that in a love story the two protagonist will end up together in a romantic relationship. She's contented by just staying and helping out Nozaki. I admire the fact that she can work professionally with Nozaki, coz in my case I would most probably have a panic attack. Like duh? you're working with the one you love!

Umetarou Nozaki

Last but definitely not the least, the main protagonist Yumeno-sensei. Haha he's obviously ignorant but that made him very much likeable but if you're the sensitive type, you'll get offended. His weirdness made him unique and appear special in Chiyo's eyes. Unknowingly, without even trying he can melt Chiyo's heart. All motherly but sometimes I mean often times lack emotions.

That's all for now, I think I've released all this stuff going on my mind. I'll rate this anime 9/10

You're My Very Own SUN...

"Koko ni Iru Yo"
I am Here

It is a must read manga for those who are living in the dark or shadow just like the female protagonist Hikage Sumino. A plain girl as describe by others, her existence was often times unknown to others and even got out of place. Being ALONE is not that easy, she have to face everything by herself but not until he met "Black Rabbit" and "MegaPig" in an online blog. Unconsciously the three share the same problem...though apart they tried their best to support each other through encouraging words.

As the story progress, a guy named Mutou Hinata was the only one who was awareof Sumino's existence and the one who found Sumino at her worst..."I've always watched you." ---> this line really captures my heart as Hinata confessed his feeling for Sumino. :3 and there the sunflower within Sumino Hikage bloom as she found her very own sun, that lights her shadowed side.

We all know that we need others in order to survive, someone we can depend on when the world seems against us. "No man is an island" the saying goes like this and I find it true, like Sumino I was always isolated but unlike her I do it on purpose thinking that I can't cope up with them. I hardly made friends... coz they perceive me as "masungit" or "suplada"... not knowing that just like Sumino, I need someone who will become my light and will be by my side whenever and wherever... someone who'll not take me for granted and who will value me.

Surely it will warm the hearts of those who are having a hard time like Sumino...all I can leave you guys is stay strong and believe that you are capable of making a CHANGE... walk towards the LIGHT and make sure to BLOOM beautifully just like a sunflower.
